Prof. Gwarzo Mourns Sheikh Ahmad Gumi’s Mother, Condoles With Family

The Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Conglomerate, Franco-British International University (FBIU), Kaduna and proposed Canadian University of Nigeria, has expressed its condolence to Kaduna-based Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi over the death of his mother.

The condolence message was contained in a statement signed by the Founder of the Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo a copy of which was made available to newsmen in Kano on Monday.

He said her death was a great loss not only to her immediate family, but to the entire muslim Ummah in the country.

Prof. Gwarzo described the deceased as a great and highly disciplined mother who trained her children on the path of Allah.

“I was shocked to learn of the death of our mother. May the Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her Jannatul Firdaus.

“On behalf of the Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria and Niger, Franco-British International University (FBIU), Kaduna and proposed Canadian University of Nigeria, I wish to extend our condolences to you and your family over this great loss.

While praying for her Allah’s forgiveness and mercy, Prof. Gwarzo also prayed to God to give Sheikh Gumi and entire members of his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The deceased died on Sunday evening around 5.30pm and had since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites at Unguwar Sarki cemetery, Kaduna.

May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace, ameen.
