Chairman, Plateau State internal revenue service, Jim Pam Wayas, has assured Stand Up for Women Society, (SWS), Plateau State chapter of partnership to support the down trodden.
He gave the assurance when the Executive officers of stand up for women society paid him an advocacy visit at his office in Jos .
The chairman who said he was overwhelmed with the calibre of women in SWS and what the organization have done so far on the Plateau, also praised the doggedness of the chairperson, Liberator Grace Gora.
Wayas observed that “what i sees is unity and a selfless group of women and I’m very impressed, i and the revenue service will collaborate with SWS because i believe in it’s course”
He however encouraged the Chapter to continue the good work they doing which is not self seeking but the course of the vulnerable.
Earlier, State chairperson of SWS, Grace Gora, briefed him on what SWS is all about, and the activities that were carried out previously in the state.
Gora also used the opportunity to seek for collaboration and partnership from the organization in any way they can.
She also appreciated the chairman for accepting to receive her and her members despite the short notice, and prayed for God’s blessings, faithfulness and grace for him to pilot the activities of the revenue service.
Also contributing, the Vice President, North Central, SWS, Ladi Emmanuel, who spoke on behalf of the National President, pleaded with the chairman to work with SWS to also enable the women touch the lives of the down trodden at the grassroot in Plateau State.
