Sallah: Emir of Birnin Magaji urges wealthy to assist needy, love one another

The Emir of Birnin Magaji in Zamfara State, Dan Ali Alhaji Husaini Mode Usman, has called on his subjects and wealthy Muslims in general to embrace the culture of helping the needy, especially at this trying moment.

The Emir made the call while addressing people of Birnin Magaji Emirate shortly after the Eid congregational prayer at Birnin Magaji Central Jumuat Mosque .

Alhaji Mode while calling for assisting the needy which may attract the blessings of Almighty Allah, especially at this period where things remain difficult to the ordinary citizens of Nigeria, emphasized the importance of following the teachings of Prophet Muhammaieing taught about helping the needy and less privileged during Eid-el-kabir Sallah celebrations.

He called on people in his domain to use the Sallah period and pray for peace and tranquility to reign in the Emirate, Zamfara State and Nigeria in general.

Dan Ali Mode Usman commended the state Government for the total renovation of Government secondary school Birnin Magaji, and other developmental projects embarked upon in the area.

Alhaji Mode also thanked the member of the House of Representatives, representing Kaura Namoda Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, Alhaji Aminu Sani Jaji, and other wealthy individuals from the Emirate for providing assistance to the needy, before and during the Sallah celebrations, and prayed for their rewards from almighty God.

While congratulating, Governor Dauda Lawal and entire people of Zamfara State on successful celebration of this year’s Eid-el-kabir Sallah festivals, the Emir prayed for almighty God to shower his blessings on the leaders at all levels for a better Zamfara State.

The Emir also used the Sallah festive period to enjoined people of the Emirate to clear all drainages and waterways to protect their areas from over flooding during the rainy season.
