SAMASHA, AHBN Media Dialogue Raises Awareness on MNCH

The African Health Budget Network (AHBN) in collaboration with SAMASHA organize a media dialogue in Kano to raise awareness on key health initiatives such as the MNCH

The event brought together media personnel to discuss Accelerated Action for Every woman, Every Newborn, EveryWhere,(EWENE), FP2030
Commitments, and the Collaborative Advocacy Action plan (CAAP)

Although this engagement is to strengthen media partnerships in advocating for increased investments, policy implementation, and accountability in maternal and newborn health, family planning, and gender _ responsive healthcare systems at large.

The AMG Foundation Under the leadership of Dr Aminu Magashi has called on the State and Federal government to intensify it Effort supplying. Hospitals with Medicine to support pregnant women.

This Statement was made by tha Chairman of the foundation. Dr Aminu Magashi Garba during press briefing
aimed at urging the government to enhance the healthcare sector, particularly for pregnant women in local government areas and across Kano State.

Similarly, the Head of Programming at Express Radio, Nafisa Murtala Ahmed, emphasized the importance of birth spacing for the health of both mothers and their children. She also Urged journalist to play a role in delivering massages that will benefit the people of Kano State.

The event was attended by journalist to help convey the message to the Kano State Government and the general public.
