Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Lalong has sent condolences to Muslim Ummah over the death of the Deputy National Chairman of the Ulama Council of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Saeed Hassan Jingir, who passed away recently in Jos.
Senator Lalong through his Special Adviser Media Dr Makut Macham, described his death as a big loss to the organisation and its members as he has contributed significantly to its growth and impact in the society.
He said the vacuum created by his exit will be felt as he was a pillar of support to the leadership of JIBWIS and its members.
Lalong who is also the former Governor of Plateau State,
while praying God to forgive his sins and grant him eternal rest said the legacies of love, hardwork and unity he cherished and canvassed will continue to be remembered.
He also prayed God to grant his family, friends and associates comfort especially Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir whom he deputised over the loss.
