Senator Lalong joins president Tinubu at the commissioning of greater Abuja water network

Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Bako Lalong on Monday joined President Bola Tinubu at the commissioning of 4 loops of the Greater Abuja Water Network.

In a statement signed by Lalong’s Special Adviser Media Makut Macham said, While performing the ceremony, President Bola Tinubu said his administration remains committed to accelerating growth, delivery of reliable infrastructures and development of human capacity for the overall prosperity of Nigeria.

The President said his Renewed Hope Agenda is committed to developing infrastructure in the Federal Capital and other parts of the nation and improving basic services such as water supply.

He commended FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his passion for service and said the inauguration of four loops of the greater Abuja water supply network of the federal capital territory will enhance water supply to Abuja which is Africas fastest growing Capital city.

Senator Lalong who is also Member of the Senate Committee on FCT said he was happy that the budgetary provisions for the FCT is being put into good use.

He said as the former Director General of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council, it was gratifying to see the Renewed Hope Agenda coming into reality within two years of the administration.
