A non-governmental organization, Creating Happiness and Assistance Foundation (CHAF), organized a special event for children at the Nasarawa Orphanage Home in Kano, aiming to bring joy and happiness to less privileged kids.
Speaking at the event on Saturday, CHAF Founder Aliyu Ibrahim Bello emphasized the organization’s commitment to creating happiness and entertainment for the children.
He explained that CHAF’s “Parté with Orphans” initiative, now in its fourth year, provides an opportunity for people to interact and have fun with the children at the orphanage.
This year’s event featured various activities, including games, painting, fashion shows, music, and dance performances. Bello noted that CHAF has succeeded in giving the children a sense of belonging by encouraging them to showcase their unique talents.
He called on the government, philanthropists, and the public to support the organization with donations, helping to bring smiles to the faces of these children.
Auwal Adam Sansan, CHAF’s Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, acknowledged the significant success of the event, attributing it to the cooperation and support from volunteer groups.
He urged the government to provide more opportunities for these young children to display their hidden talents and expressed hope that next year’s event would be even bigger.
One of the children, Sulaiman Muhammad, expressed his joy, describing the event as a “Children’s Day” celebration. He shared that whenever CHAF visits the orphanage, all the kids are excited and feel relieved, as the organization always brings happiness to their lives. Sulaiman also prayed for the organization’s continued well-being and prosperity.
