Taraba Senator embarks on massive construction, renovation of schools

In a bid to ensure that pupils in his constituency study in a conducive environment, the Senator representing Taraba Central at the senate, Senator Yusuf Abubakar Yusuf, has embarked on massive reconstruction and renovation of schools in his constituency.

According to a statement by Hafsat Ahmad Munga, the Taraba Central Senator is also providing boreholes in the renovated and reconstructed schools to enable the pupils have access to potable water while in school as well as providing a computer centre.

Some of the benefitted schools include as ICT center at GSS Bali, Government Day secondary school Nguroje among others benefitted with modern computer systems aims to boost technology among the students.

Other recorded achievements are Vocational training school, with, Borehole, generator, furniture and equipment in his constituency computer room at Bali school and early childcare development centre. Mayo Ngada.

The statement by Mrs Hafsat Munga, quoted the senator saying “I was not comfortable with the dilapidated condition of some of the schools, that is why I decided to intervene” .

“Our interest is the people; we want our children to study in a conducive environment, have access to potable water while in school. We want our people to have easy access to health care services. They are the reason we are at the senate to seek how to better their living.

“We will continue to do our best to give them good representation and touch their lives in our little way,” the senator said, according to Mrs Munga .

Mrs Hafsat Munga also said that , besides the schools being worked on, Senator Yusuf Abubakar has also embarked on building a new health centre in his constituency and other developmental projects that will foster development in the Senatorial.
