The campaign office of one of the key members of the APC in Kano State, Senator Barau Jibrin was razed by thugs in the early hours of Thursday.

The incident happened in Maiduguri Road, Kano State, when the suspected thugs learnt  that the office will host the party members loyal to the opposition members meeting.

Senator Barau Jibril is a senator representing Kano North Senatorial District.

Barau has recently distanced himself from state affairs, allegedly realizing that Governor Ganduje may not support his gubernatorial bids in 2023.

He sided with Senator Ibrahim Shekarau’s faction, which resulted in the formation of a parallel congress.

The two factions of the party conducted parallel congresses on October 18.
