In a bold step towards shaping globally competitive graduates, Franco-British International University, Kaduna recently hosted a high-impact training session on Professionalization, Employability Skills, and Problem-Solving Techniques, drawing attention from education and development stakeholders across Nigeria and beyond.

The interactive session was facilitated by Dr. Musa Abdullahi Sufi, a seasoned development strategist, Director of the Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation (AAG Foundation), and Founder of Sustainable Innovation and Development Solutions (SIDES). The training was conducted under the guidance and full support of the university’s visionary Founder and President MAAUN group of universities, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, a renowned advocate for youth innovation and education across Africa.

This forward-thinking program emphasized practical learning through group brainstorming, real-time project design, and team-building exercises equipping students with essential 21st-century skills such as leadership, collaboration, critical thinking, and social innovation.

Students were tasked with identifying community based problems and developing implementable solutions aimed at real impact.

“We are not only preparing our students for the job market , we are inspiring them to become creators, innovators, and problem-solvers. This is what education for the future must look like,” noted Dr. Musa Sufi during the closing remarks.

Throughout the session, students demonstrated exceptional creativity and eagerness, reflecting a deep understanding of the social challenges their communities face from unemployment to environmental degradation and the role of youth in finding sustainable solutions. The training provided a platform for self-discovery, intellectual collaboration, and vision-building, marking a new chapter in student engagement at Franco-British University.
