We Will Not Relent in Our Efforts Towards Promoting Education, Health – Hon. Mairami

The Executive Chairman of Nguru Local Government Area, Alhaji Mohammad Ahmad Mairami, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving education and healthcare delivery across communities within the council.

Hon. Mairami made this known during an advocacy and sensitization tour of several villages, including Maidashi, Bisari, Yakubari, Zomana, Dabule, Kachallari, Balangwa, Baganari, Kurnawa, Mallam Babu, Karim Bari, Dumar Hausawa, Dumar Mangawa, Lawanti, and Dagirari, among others.

The Chairman, who was accompanied by the Education Secretary, Alhaji Hamisu Ado, and the Primary Health Care Coordinator, Abubakar Dahiru, emphasized the need for attitudinal change among residents, urging parents to prioritize their children’s education.

“All we need from you is a change in attitude send your wards to school because only through education can we achieve progress in all aspects of life,” Mairami said.

He further noted that education and health remain top priorities for his administration, assuring the communities of continuous government engagement to enhance their well-being.

In his remarks, the Education Secretary, Alhaji Hamisu Ado, emphasized the importance of education, stressing that it is a right of every Nigerian child. He called on parents to ensure that all school-age children are enrolled and retained in school.

The sensitization tour, which covered communities located in the northern axis of Nguru, aimed to promote stronger collaboration between the local government and residents in advancing education and health initiatives for sustainable community development.
