Kano state government has reaffirmed commitment to improve education in the state.
The state commissioner for local Government and chieftaincy affairs Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo made the pledged at the distribution of instructionals materials in the ministry.
Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo represented by ALGON chairman and chairman of Takai local government, Alhaji Mohammad Baffa Takai said the state government spent Millions of naira on the procurement of instructional materials at boosting the quality of education in the state.
The commissioner assured the state government continued support to the provision of instructional materials on monthly basis to primary and secondary schools in the state.
Alhaji Murtala Garo used the opportunity to call on the education secretaries in the state to ensure the best use of the material’s for maximum result.
Responding the chairman Rimingado local government Alhaji Munnir Dahiru Maigari on behalf of the 44 local government chairmen pledged to closely monitor the disbursement charts of the items to ensure equal distribution.
The Director inspection in the ministry for local government Alhaji salisu Mohammad Tahir was among the important dignitaries graced the occasion.
The Education sectary Takai local government on behalf of the education secretaries in the state, Alhaji Dalha inuwa Bagwaro thanked the state Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and commissioner for local government Alh murtala sule Garo for their concern to development of education in the state.
