The Executives Members Galadima Ward Gusau in Zamfara State who have recently signed a suspension letter of the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have unanimously made a U-turn on their decision as they signed and submitted to the State Headquarters of the party another letter for notice of withdrawal.
Submitting the Notice of Withdrawal to the Gusau Local Government Chairman of the APC, Tijjani Abubakar Dan Ayya, who instantly handed over the letter to the State Chairman of the APC, Tukur Umar Danfulani who was represented by the party Secretary, Ibrahim Umar Birnin Magaji, the Publicity Secretary of the Galadima Ward, Nasiru, said they were deceived to signed the suspension letter.
According to the Publicity Secretary, the meeting was held for a meeting with a Senatorial aspirant who decided to meet with the exco express his ambition ahead of 2027 elections which at the end, a paper of attendance went round for signatures which was later used to achieve political goals by unpatriotic party members.
Speaking during the handover of the Notice of Withdrawal to the party headquarters, the APC Chairman of Gusau local government, Tijjani Abubakar Dan Ayya, said the letter contained refreshment of loyalty of the exco to the leadership of Danfulani Maikatako and the APC.
Receiving the letter on behalf of the State Chairman, the State Secretary of the APC, Ibrahim Umar Birnin Magaji, has commended the exco for their timely U-turn on the controversial but illegal suspension of the State Chairman, therefore urged all peace-loving members of the APC to remain calm and committed towards recapturing Zamfara State by 2027.
The Secretary warned that, the party would not fold arms to allow those behind the unconstitutional moves go unpunished especially as it created uproarious in the state and the party, adding that, “The popularity of APC is still intact in Zamfara State, all we need is to remain united with a view to make the party greater than it has been.
It would be recalled, a letter was signed and made available to newsmen in Gusau Zamfara State capital few days ago, which contained signatures of eight executive members of Galadima Ward where the State Chairman hailed which announced the suspension of the State Chairman, Danfulani Maikatako.
