The Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZASIEC) has slated 16th of November-2024 as date to hold Local Government elections across the state.
Announcing the development, the state Chairman of the Commission, Bala Aliyu Gusau, said by the virtue of the Law no. 4 and the conferred on him, the sales of the forms for the interested candidates will commence on the 25th of October 2024.
According to him, the Commission has also slated 1st of November as the completion and submission of the filled forms.
He therefore called on all political parties as well as interested candidates under their umbrella to prepare for the purchase of the forms and submit back to the Commission after due completion within the stated times.
