Kasham NGO Explores Technological Opportunities at NITT, Dawakin Kudu

Today, the Kasham Girls Women Youth and Community Development Network (KGWYCDN), a prominent NGO in Kano, visited the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Dawakin Kudu.

The visit aimed to explore the institution’s programs and technologies as part of efforts to enhance the lives of Kano citizens.

During an interaction with journalists following the tour, Dinatu Dama Maji, Executive Director of Kasham, highlighted the potential of NITT’s technological resources.

She emphasized that leveraging these resources could expose youths to Artificial Intelligence (AI), computer programming, and create avenues for employment.

Dinatu expressed optimism that the collaboration between Kasham and NITT would enable Kano’s youth to develop scalable ideas, fostering self-reliance and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Alh. Kabiru Abdullahi, NITT’s Liaison Officer in Kano, who guided Kasham’s team during the visit, welcomed the initiative.

He affirmed NITT’s commitment to ongoing collaboration with Kasham, aiming to contribute to the development of Kano State and Nigeria as a whole.

PRIME TIME NEWS gathered that KGWYCDN is dedicated to bridging gaps in opportunities for youths and female adolescents in Kano State, aiming to improve their quality of life.
