1st Batch of Kano Pilgrims Set to Return Home

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that all arrangements have been made for the return of the first batch of 554 pilgrims from Kano State.
The Director General, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, confirmed that the pilgrims will depart from King Abdul-Aziz International Airport in Jeddah today and arrive at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.

According to Dederi, He said, Speaking at a farewell ceremony in Makka, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u assured that the Board and Max Air will continue to prioritize the pilgrims’ welfare, with those who arrived first being the first to return home.
The shortlisted Local Governments for this batch include Gwale, Dala, Ungogo, and Fagge.
The Director General urged the pilgrims to remain peaceful and patient, assuring them that they will continue to receive necessary care, food, and medication until the departure of the last flight.
He also encouraged them to maintain good manners and continue praying for the success of the exercise.
