9th Assembly Member Aliyu Datti Yako Resigns From APC

Hon.Aliyu Datti Yako, member of the 9th Assembly who represented Kiru/Bebeji Federal constitutuency in Kano State,has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress(APC).
Yako announced the resignation in a letter he addressed to the Chairman of the Yako Ward of the APC.
“I am writing to formally resign as a member of the All Progressives Congress(APC) effective Immediately.
“I wish to use this opportunity to appreciate the party leaders and supporters for all their endeavors.Thank you and best regards,” the former lawmaker said.
The letter was received by Sulaiman Muhammed Bello on behalf of the party on Wednesday, April 1,2026.
