Adamawa SDP Guber Candidate, Dr. Umar Ardo, Mourns Loss of Eldest Daughter

Dr. Umar Ardo, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) gubernatorial candidate for the 2023 general elections in Adamawa state, is grieving the passing of his eldest daughter, Hajiya Aishatu Ardo.

According to reports, Hajiya Aishatu passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday at her matrimonial home in Abuja, as confirmed by family sources.

Hajiya Aishatu, who was the first daughter of Dr. Ardo’s family, had been married for two years and led a quiet life, even amidst past challenges.

She had previously experienced a kidnapping ordeal, which garnered significant attention and ended with her safe release following concerted security efforts.

Dr. Adamu Alkali, a close ally of her father, expressed the family’s deep sorrow, revealing that Hajiya Aishatu has been laid to rest in Abuja Central Cemetery in accordance with Islamic traditions.
