Eid-elFitr: Minister felicitates with Muslim faithful, Calls for Unity, Religious Tolerance

The Minister of Transportation, Senator Sai’du Alkali has stressed the need for religious tolerance and unity among the diverse ethnic groups in the country in his sallah message.

This is contained in a press statement signed by his Special Assistant Media and Publicity Malam Umar Alkali and made it available to news men in Gombe yesterday.

“While felicitating the Muslim Ummah for this year’s Eid El Fitr Celebration marking the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Minister maintained that no nation can prosper without peace, calling on Nigerians to be their brothers’ keepers,” he said.

He enjoined Muslims faithful to put into practice the lessons they have learnt during Ramadan which include helping the needy, reading of glorious Quran and other good deeds in their daily activities to attract Allah’s blessings.

The Minister also felicitates with President Bola Tinubu, the Governor of Gombe State, Alh. Inuwa Yahaya, the Emir of Gombe, Dr. Abubakar Shehu Abubakar and other Community and Religious Leaders for witnessing the annual festival, praying to almighty Allah for the nation’s prosperity.

He assured Nigerians of the Federal Government’s unwavering Commitment to better their lots.
