Rep. Abubakar Bichi Expresses Gratitude to President Tinubu for Approval of N238 Billion Kano Northern Road

A member Representing Bichi Federal Constituency and serving as Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, Rep. Abubakar Bichi has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for greenlighting the construction of the Kano Northern Bypass, with a budget of 238 billion Naira.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Rep. Bichi emphasized that the project will enhance the movement of goods and services, promote the establishment of industrial zones, and stimulate economic activities in Kano.

“It is a matter of great joy that Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, approved construction of the Kano Northern Bypass at the cost of N238 billion, at a sitting of the Federal Executive council on Tuesday 14/5/2024

“This huge investment, a signature project, is a long-awaited infrastructure that will further boost the status of Kano as the commercial nerve centre of northern Nigeria and even some West African Countries.

“The Kano Northern Bypass will expedite the mobility of goods and services, facilitate the establishment of industrial clusters, thus creating income generation activities for our teeming population.

“We are elated that your administration has prioritized the development of critical infrastructure to accelerate the attainment of overall socio-economic transformation.

“Sir, we pray that the Almighty gives you more wisdom, health and strength of character to steer our dear country to greater heights.

“Thank you Mr President, Kano will continue to support you,” the statement concluded.
