AMG Foundation Launches Sick Children Trust Fund, Donates Cow to Hospitalized Children
The founder of the AMG Foundation, Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba, has fulfilled his promise by donating a cow to ease the burden of stress on children and parents in various hospitals in Kano.
This initiative is part of the AMG Foundation’s collaboration with the Whiteheart Foundation through its program for vulnerable sick children.
In addition, Dr. Garba launched a vulnerable children’s fund to enhance humanitarian services for underprivileged families in crucial need of healthcare access in the state.
The AMG Foundation has pledged to contribute to the fund monthly, ensuring its sustainability after all legal arrangements are established.
Khadija Aliyu Ammani, Executive Director of the Whiteheart Foundation, stated that the AMG Foundation’s support in establishing the trust fund has alleviated many of the financial challenges faced by families of sick children, most of whom are from poor backgrounds both within and outside the state.
Furthermore, Dr. Alhassan Adamu, President of the Nigeria Cancer Society, and Zainab Nasir Ahmad from the Youth Society for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Social Vices (YOSPIS), commended the AMG Foundation for its numerous selfless humanitarian activities in the state and called for further partnerships to ensure the sustainability of these projects.
