Yuletide: NSCDC Deploys 3,542 Operatives in Kano

The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), led by Commandant Mohammed Lawal Falala, FCNA, has announced the deployment of 3,542 personnel to ensure a safe and peaceful Christmas and New Year celebration across the state.

According to a press release signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, operatives were drawn from 44 divisional offices and various departments and units of the command, including undercover personnel. Their mission is to provide robust security at Christian worship centers, recreational spots, strategic locations, and other areas of public interest during the festive period.

Additionally, the NSCDC operatives have been mobilized to collaborate with sister traffic enforcement agencies to guarantee smooth vehicular movement throughout the celebrations.

The Corps also emphasized its commitment to maintaining 24-hour surveillance and protecting critical infrastructure across the state. Miscreants and troublemakers have been warned to desist from any acts capable of disturbing public peace, as offenders will face the full wrath of the law.

The NSCDC reassures residents of Kano State of their readiness to ensure safety and security throughout the yuletide season.
