Prime Time News Celebrates Staff with Dedication Awards
In a heartwarming ceremony organized by Prime Time News, a prominent online newspaper headquartered in Kano, the organization celebrated its employees’ unwavering commitment and excellence with a dedication awards event.
The evening was filled with inspiring speeches, warm smiles, and standing ovations as staff members were honored for their outstanding contributions to the media powerhouse.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Prime Time News, Mr. Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, commended the staff for their resilience and dedication to delivering top-quality journalism.
“We are not just celebrating achievements; we are celebrating the people who make Prime Time News a beacon of trust and integrity in the media industry,” he remarked.
The ceremony featured awards in categories such as Best Reporter, Outstanding Reporter, Prime Time Spirit Award, Most Improved Reporter, Longest-Serving Reporter, and Outstanding Correspondent, among others.
Among the honorees was Mustapha Salis, who won the Best Reporter Award for his groundbreaking reports that brought significant societal changes. “It’s not just about recognition; it’s a motivation to keep going,” Mustapha said while accepting the award.
The Most Improved Employee of the Year Award was presented to Hadiza Yusuf Musa for her meticulous attention to detail and mentorship. “This award belongs to the entire team. We succeed because we work together,” Hadiza said, dedicating her plaque to her editorial department.
Other notable winners included Salisu Hamisu Ali, who received the Prime Time Spirit Award, Maryama SSulai Sulaiman as Most Decent Reporter, Nabila Imam as Longest-Serving Employee, Hannatu Sulaiman Abba as Longest-Serving Reporter, and Tongnaan Bawa, the Prime Time News correspondent in Plateau State, who was named Outstanding Correspondent of the Year.
The event also provided an opportunity to reflect on the organization’s milestones over the past year, including record-breaking audience growth, impactful news coverage, and successful community outreach programs.
A dinner buffet capped off the celebrations, giving staff members a chance to unwind and bond with their colleagues.
