Former NYSC DG, Several Others Abducted in Katsina

The former Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Major General Mahraz Tsiga (rtd), has been abducted alongside several residents of Tsiga village in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The incident reportedly occurred around midnight on Wednesday. However, official confirmation remains pending as details surrounding the abduction are still unclear.

Residents who spoke anonymously to Prime Time News confirmed that the former NYSC DG was among those taken by the assailants.

As of press time, neither the Katsina State Government nor the police have issued an official statement regarding the abduction.
