Akwa Ibom CP Donates Foodstuff To Divine Children’s Home

The Commissioner of Police in Akwa Ibom State, Baba Mohammed Azare, has donated foodstuff to the Divine Children Home, Atan Offot, Uyo.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, DSP Timfon John.
While presenting the items at the Home on behalf of the command on Tuesday,the statement said,Azare said the gesture was in line with the commitment of the Command’s dedication to fostering positive relationships within the community and extending care to its most vulnerable members.
“In a heartwarming display of community engagement and social responsibility, the Commissioner of Police Akwa Ibom State Police Command, CP Baba Mohammed Azare fsi, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, visited the Divine Children Home located at Atan Offot, Uyo.
“Demonstrating their commitment beyond law enforcement, the Command presented a generous donation of food items to support the well-being of the children residing at the home,” the statement said.
Receiving the donations, the caretaker of the Divine Children Home, Miss Emenebong Okokon, expressed profound gratitude to the Commissioner of Police and the entire Akwa Ibom State Police Command for their kindness and generosity.
Okokon offered heartfelt prayers for the continued blessings and protection of God Almighty upon the Commissioner and all officers and personnel of the Command.
“This visit exemplifies the Akwa Ibom State Police Command’s understanding of their role as not only protectors but also as compassionate members of the community.
“The Command remains committed to initiatives that uplift and support the welfare of all residents, particularly those in need,” the statement added.
