BREAKING: Security Forces Take Over Galadiman Kano’s Residence Ahead of Traditional Ceremony

Heavy security presence was observed early Friday morning at the residence of the Galadiman Kano, located in the Galadanci area of Gwale Local Government, Kano State.

Eyewitnesses reported that security operatives, including police officers, had surrounded the premises overnight, blocking all entry routes into the residence. The development sparked public attention as patrol vehicles were seen stationed within and around the compound.

Sources indicate that the security deployment coincides with preparations for a traditional escort ceremony, during which the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, is expected to accompany the Galadiman Kano, Mannir Sanusi. The event marks the official installation of the Galadima, in accordance with longstanding customs of the Kano Emirate.

As of press time, authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the security operation.
