BREAKING: Saudi Arabia Announces Moon Sighting, Sets Dates for Arafah Day and Eid Al-Adha
Saudi Arabia has officially announced the sighting of the crescent moon, marking the beginning of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah. Following this announcement, the Kingdom has declared that the Day of ‘Arafah will be observed on Thursday, 5th June 2025.
Consequently, Eid Al-Adha, one of the most significant festivals in the Islamic calendar, will be celebrated on Friday, 6th June 2025. The sighting of the moon signals the start of the annual Hajj pilgrimage, which culminates in the observance of Eid Al-Adha.
