Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed profound grief over the death of elder statesman, business magnate and philanthropist, Aminu Alhassan Dantata who passed away at the age of 94.

In a condolence message issued by his Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed on Saturday, Governor Radda described the late Dantata as a “towering figure” whose contributions to commerce, industry and humanitarian service left an indelible mark across Northern Nigeria and beyond.

According to the Governor, Dantata’s entrepreneurial legacy continues to inspire generations of young Nigerians, especially in the North where his story of success and philanthropy has served as a beacon of hope and aspiration.

“We have lost a giant whose footprints cannot be easily erased. His life was not only about building a vast business empire but also about uplifting others and extending a helping hand to those in need,” Radda stated.
