BREAKING: Professor Haruna Musa Elected as New Vice Chancellor of BUK

Bayero University, Kano (BUK), has elected Professor Haruna Musa as its new Vice Chancellor.

The election, held on Tuesday within the university campus, saw Professor Musa emerge as the top candidate among five contenders for the prestigious position.

Official results of the election are as follows:

1. Professor Haruna Musa – 853 votes

2. Professor Mahmoud Umar Sani – 367 votes

3. Professor Muhammad Sani Gumel – 364 votes

4. Professor Adamu Idris Tanko – 161 votes

5. Professor Bashir Muhammad Fagge – 18 votes
