In a bid to inject youthful vibrancy and fresh ideas into his administration, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has sworn in Ibrahim Adam as the Special Adviser on Information.
The ceremony, held Thursday at the Government House in Kano, saw the State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Barr. Haruna Isa Dederi, administer the oath of office.
Adam becomes the youngest member of Governor Yusuf’s cabinet, a move widely seen as part of the governor’s strategy to give the younger generation a stronger voice in governance.
Congratulating the new appointee, Governor Yusuf urged him to bring innovation, professionalism, and dedication to the role, particularly in strengthening government messaging and engaging with the public.
The appointment has sparked excitement among Kano’s youth, who view it as a sign of growing inclusivity and a bold step toward a more dynamic state government.
