Yobe@34: Gov. Buni Vows Total Commitment to Security in Yobe, Says “No Resources Will Be Spared”

Governor Mai Mala Buni, has reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to strengthening security across Yobe State, pledging that no resources will be spared in ensuring lasting peace and stability.
The Governor made this known during a special media chat with the state-owned broadcasters, YTV and YBC, as part of activities marking the 34th anniversary of the creation of Yobe State.
Buni emphasized that peace and security remain the foundation of every meaningful development, stressing that the government has continued to make huge investments in the security sector.
“Peace is the bedrock of development. Any government that desires growth for its people must first guarantee security and stability. We are always prepared to deploy every necessary resource to protect lives and property across Yobe State,” he stated.
The Governor further called on parents and community leaders to take responsibility for the upbringing of their children, ensuring that they instill discipline, sound values, and positive guidance that will prevent them from indulging in criminal tendencies.
He assured that his administration will continue to collaborate with security agencies, traditional rulers, and community stakeholders to consolidate the gains recorded in the state’s peace and stability.
