PCACC, International IDEA’s RoLAC II Strengthen Collaboration on KANSACS Implementation

The Executive Chairman of the Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC), Mr. Saidu Yahaya, on Thursday, 23rd November 2025, received Professor A. Elemika, a consultant with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) under its Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Programme Phase II (RoLAC II), at the Commission’s headquarters in Kano.

The meeting reviewed progress on the Kano State Anti-Corruption Strategy (KANSACS), assessing achievements, challenges, and ways to enhance implementation.

Mr. Yahaya commended International IDEA for its sustained support in strengthening PCACC’s capacity to promote integrity and accountability. Professor Elemika reaffirmed RoLAC II’s commitment to aligning the 2024–2028 phase of KANSACS with global best practices.

Both parties agreed to deepen collaboration for effective implementation in line with the state government’s commitment to transparency and good governance.
