Zamfara: NIS assures strengthen synergy against insecurity

The Comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service Zamfara State Command (NIS), Dauda Ibrahim Sabimoro. has assured most needed but formidable synergy with other sister security agencies with a view to gear up to conquer all security challenges bedeviled the state.
Mr. Sabimoro who gave the assurance yesterday (Thursday) while celebrating the 60th year anniversary of the NIS since it was curved out from the Nigeria Police Agency in 1963 under cap 171, when it was started as directorate now operates as full pledged agency.
According to him, NIS has recorded tremendous achievements in terms x-raying the movements from within to outside the country all with the synergy with other sister agencies without which there would be no success on any planned mission against criminals and criminalities.
He further solicited for all security agencies to work with perfect understanding, saying, “The Police being the mother security sister should always keep in talking with other sister agencies, and Military to Civil Defense, as well as Immigration to Customs”.
“The country would be much better and a paradise for living as peace and tranquility would be maintained for the expected legitimate businesses to run, but all that could not be achieved without perfect cooperation from the good citizens of the country”, CIS Sabimoro has added.
