Sports Icon Presents Cup to Emir of Gombe, Creates AFCON Viewing Center for Soccer Fans in Emirate

Sports Entrepreneur Hon. Ahmed Shuaibu Gara Gombe, the former Chairman of Gombe State Athletics Association and Football Association, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gombe, at his palace.
The visit was aimed at appreciating the Royal father’s leadership and to formally present gift items to benchmark the occasion.
Highlights of the visit was the presentation of the Gombe Emir’s Cup Football Competition, a tournament designed for competition among the Emirates and Chiefdoms in Gombe State.
The competition is sequel to promoting Unity, Culture, Youth Development, Football Development, and Oneness among traditional institutions.
The Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer of Green White Green Sports Center limited also sponsors the establishment of a viewing center at the Emir’s palace where football fans watch AFCON matches including Super Eagles vs Morocco match.
The sports icon has been an enigma in sports management and sponsorship in Gombe State, a status his passion for sports will not abate in the nearest future
