The Renewed Hope Arewa Youth Engagement Initiative has congratulated the Executive Governor of Kano State on his decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the move as a major step toward strengthening progressive governance and promoting unity in the state and across Nigeria.
In a statement signed by the Director of Media and Public Enlightenment, M. Saeed Kano, the group said the governor’s decision demonstrates his commitment to aligning with a national platform that prioritizes development, inclusive leadership, and people-centered governance.
According to the statement, the initiative believes the governor’s move signals readiness to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver sustainable progress, particularly for the youth and the wider populace.
The group also urged citizens of Kano State, party members, community leaders, and youth organizations to embrace the renewed political direction and participate actively in strengthening democracy through voter registration and peaceful engagement.
