President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to commission a newly built permanent NYSC Orientation Camp in Malkohi, a Model School in Yola North Local Government Area, a newly constructed underpass at the former Bekaji Roundabout, and the expanded Bank Road in Yola, during a one-day official visit to Adamawa State on Monday.
This was disclosed by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. James Iliya, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday.
According to him, the visit is a clear indication of the developmental strides recorded under the administration of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
He explained that the President’s visit would provide an avenue to commission several key infrastructural projects completed by the Fintiri-led government.
“He will also unveil the automated gate at the Government House and inaugurate the newly constructed Governor’s Office complex,” the Commissioner stated.
Mr. Iliya further noted that the projects span critical sectors including education, infrastructure, justice administration, governance, security, and healthcare, describing them as part of the state’s broader human capital development initiatives.
He called on residents of Adamawa State to remain law-abiding and orderly ahead of and during the President’s visit.
Meanwhile, the Adamawa State Police Command has strengthened security across the state with the deployment of operational assets, including the Police Mobile Force, Counter-Terrorism Unit, Surveillance Squad, and Crowd and Traffic Control Units, to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free visit.
