Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has extended a generous gesture to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, approving the payment of N100,000 to each executive member as a Sallah support package.
The financial support, distributed to party officials across the state, is aimed at enabling them to celebrate the Eid-el-Fitr holiday with ease and joy. It also serves as a token of appreciation for their dedication to the party’s ideals.
Presenting the cash gifts at the event, the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka, who represented the Governor, urged beneficiaries to remain loyal and steadfast.
He described the Governor’s action as a reflection of his commitment to the welfare of party structures.
According to Gadaka, “This is not just a gift; it is an encouragement from our leader, Governor Mai Mala Buni. We must show our appreciation by working harder for the success of the party.”
In their response, party executives, Hon. Budu Lawan and Mani Ahmad, commended the Governor for his thoughtfulness.
They assured him of their readiness to mobilize support and ensure the party’s victory in forthcoming elections.
The event was also attended by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political and Legislative Matters, Alhaji Usman Kabaruma, alongside other key stakeholders of the party in the state.
