In the spirit of compassion, generosity, and community that defines the holy month of Ramadan, MATA Network, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, partnered with Rano Rice to carry out a meaningful outreach to Panisau Village as Muslims prepare to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.
The outreach, which took place yesterday, was aimed at supporting families within the community with essential food items to ease the festive preparations. The team was warmly received by the district head, whose office served as the central coordination point for the distribution exercise, ensuring an organized and impactful engagement.
Speaking on the initiative, Yasmin Obadaki the Founder of MATA Network shared:
“Giving is at the heart of who we are. It is not just about what we provide, but about the dignity, hope, and sense of belonging we restore in the process. As we mark the end of Ramadan, we are reminded that true impact lies in lifting others and standing in solidarity with our communities.”
Also commenting on the partnership,Hajia Rahama Auwal Rano, Executive Director of Rano Rice stated:
“At Rano Rice, we believe that food is a powerful connector, especially during moments of celebration. We are proud to collaborate with MATA Network on this outreach, ensuring that families in Panisau(Ungwa Angalawa, panisau chiki gari, ungwa samoni, Dorayi) can celebrate Eid with joy and dignity.”
The initiative was further strengthened by the generous support of FungYue Seasoning Cubes and Spices, whose team joined the outreach to provide women in the community with seasoning cubes and spices to complement their meals. Their contribution added a thoughtful touch, enhancing both the nutritional value and flavor of the distributed food items.
MATA Network extends its heartfelt appreciation to all partners and community leaders who made this outreach a success.
As the organization continues to expand its impact, MATA Network remains steadfast in its mission: to build stronger communities, uplift lives, and ensure that every effort counts—because at MATA, we are committed to making one woman and one girl matters.
