High Court Projects:Housing Commissioner Instructs Contractor To Ensure World Class Standard

Kano State Commissioner for Housing Development, Arc. Ibrahim Yakubu Adamu, has urged the contractor handling the construction of the new High Court offices and official residence of the state Chief Judge to ensure that the projects meet world-class standard.
A statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment of the Ministry for Housing Development, Malam Adamu Abdullahi, said the Commissioner gave the instruction when he paid an inspection visit to the project sites at the Audu Bako Secretariat and the Government House premises.
He expressed satisfaction at the quality and level of work done but urged the contractor to double efforts to achieve the desired objectives.
“You see that the Contractor has mobilised to the sites and the work is currently in progress, therefore, I would like to use this medium to call on him to maintain the level at which he is operating as well as urge him to speed up and complete the projects within the time frame,” Arc. Adamu said.
He explained that when completed,the offices at the High Court would immensely address the issues of office accommodation at the complex, adding that the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf would leave no stone unturned in its efforts to provide conducive atmosphere in all tiers of government.
The commissioner further stressed the need for the contractor to apply all building regulations to ensure that the quality of work done meets international standard.
Responding,the Contractor, Engr. Fouad Ali Elrai of Kanwood Construction & Block Industry Ltd, assured the Commissioner that they would do their best to satisfy the government’s desire of providing qualitative infrastructure that stands the test of time, assuring that the projects would be of high standard.
