A grassroots leader and former aspirant for the National Zonal Youth Leader (North-West), Abdulhameed Musa Abdullahi, has commended the Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, for what he described as strong commitment to youth inclusion and strategic leadership in the state.
Abdulhameed, who hails from Ngaski Local Government Area, gave the commendation in Birnin Kebbi on April 19, 2026, while reflecting on his recent political journey.

He noted that despite the National Working Committee (NWC) Zonal Retention policy, which affected his ambition, the governor provided an enabling environment that allowed him to engage meaningfully with stakeholders across Ngaski, Kebbi South, and the wider state.
According to him, the governor has continued to demonstrate support for emerging leaders, particularly youths seeking to contribute to governance and development.
“His Excellency has proven to be a champion for the youth. The recognition given to our movement shows that his administration is focused on building future leaders,” Abdulhameed said.
He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the administration at the grassroots level, adding that he would sustain his community-based initiatives to ensure the successful implementation of the state’s “Budget of Transformation and People’s Empowerment.”
Abdulhameed, a medical laboratory professional and grassroots politician, emphasized the need for continued collaboration between government and young people to drive sustainable development across Kebbi State.
