By Abdullahi Yusuf
Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has extended a formal invitation to investors, development partners and entrepreneurs across Nigeria and beyond, to attend the Nasarawa Investment Summit 2026.
The Nasarawa Investment Summit 2026 is scheduled to hold on May 6 and 7 in Lafia, the state capital.
The summit, themed: “Bold Transitions: Building a Legacy for a Sustainable Future,” is the third in a series of investment conferences hosted by the Governor Sule administration since 2022.
The Governor described the 2026 edition as a defining moment in the state’s economic journey, coming on the heels of two previous summits that progressively positioned Nasarawa as a competitive investment destination in Nigeria.
Addressing potential investors in a promotional message, Governor Sule said his administration had over the past seven years transformed Nasarawa State through bold reforms, improved ease of doing business and strategic investments across agriculture, mining, infrastructure and manufacturing.
The summit will feature high-level policy dialogues, an investment boardroom, investment showcases, MSME competitions and strategic engagements with both global and local investors.
A major highlight of the event will be the launching of the Lafia Declaration, described as a formal commitment by stakeholders to sustain the state’s ongoing economic reforms.
Sule urged all stakeholders to take advantage of the summit to contribute to building what he called a resilient and prosperous Nasarawa State, reaffirming the administration’s signature investment pitch: “Nasarawa means business.”
