KadPoly Visits Gov Uba Sani, Commends Education Reforms

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has received the management team of Kaduna State Polytechnic, led by its Rector, Dr Suleiman Umar, during a courtesy visit at the Government House.
The governor disclosed this in a post shared on his official X handle on Saturday.
According to him, the delegation commended his administration’s ongoing efforts to reposition the education sector in the state.
He said the management acknowledged key interventions of the government, including the reduction of school fees, measures aimed at tackling out-of-school children, construction of new schools, recruitment and retraining of teachers, as well as the upgrading of educational infrastructure.
Senator Sani noted that the meeting also gave him the opportunity to reflect on his formative years at the Kaduna State Polytechnic, which he described as one of his alma maters.
He commended the management of the institution for sustaining its standards and urged them to remain committed to excellence and innovation.
The governor further disclosed that he was invited to serve as Special Guest of Honour at the forthcoming convocation ceremony and 70th anniversary celebration of the Polytechnic.
He added that the institution also conferred on him the title of Fellow of the Polytechnic, described as its highest honour.
He assured the management of his administration’s commitment to upgrade, reconstruct and rehabilitate infrastructure within the institution to provide a conducive environment for teaching and learning.
