Influx Of New Members:Kano State NDC Postpones State Congress

The Kano State chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has postponed its planned state congress for the election of party executives.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Adam Said Adam,
DG Social media,NDC Kano State chapter.
It quoted the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Husaini Isah Mai Riga, as explaining that the decision was taken following the recent influx of prominent political figures into the party.
Mai Riga further stated that a new date for the congress would be announced once all necessary arrangements had been concluded.
“The Chairman, on behalf of the party, expressed sincere apologies to party members and the general public in Kano State for any inconvenience caused by the change,” the statement added.
