Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has announced Tuesday, May 5, 2026, as the date for the swearing-in of his deputy, Hon. Murtala Sule Garo.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Adam, who disclosed that the ceremony is scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Coronation Hall, Government House, Kano.
The event is expected to attract top government officials, party leaders, and other dignitaries from within and outside the state.
