The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Alh. Murtala Sule Garo, on Tuesday attended the funeral prayer of late Hajiya Habiba Garba ‘Yandalla, a former APC Women Leader in Kano State.
The Deputy Governor joined family members, political associates, and other mourners during the funeral prayer held at Hotoro Tsamiyar Boka after Asr prayer.
Late Hajiya Habiba Garba ‘Yandalla reportedly died after a prolonged illness at the age of 53.

In a statement issued by Naima Musa Umar, the Ag. Public Relations Officer (PRO), Office of the Deputy Governor, revealed that the late APC women leader was described as a grassroots mobiliser who contributed to women’s participation and political activities within the party in Kano State.
The statement noted that she remained active in grassroots political engagement and party mobilisation over the years.
After the funeral prayer, Deputy Governor Garo accompanied the remains of the deceased to Tarauni Cemetery where she was laid to rest.

He prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings, grant her mercy, and admit her into Aljannatul Firdaus.
