Gombe Governorship Primaries:Pantamiyya Movement Disclaims T-shirts Bearing Prof.Isa Pantami’s Picture,Name

The Pantamiyya Movement has disclaimed T-shirts bearing the picture and name of Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami spotted
during the direct primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State.
A statement signed by Prof. Suleiman Mohammed for the For Pantamiyya Movement and Supporters, said the intention of those circulating the T-shirts was to cause confusion during the primary election.
“It has come to our attention that some individuals opposed to free, fair, and credible elections in Gombe State have printed T-shirts bearing Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami’s picture and name during the direct primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Their intention is to cause a crisis during the election.
“As a result, we urge our genuine supporters to avoid wearing T-shirts with Malam Isa Ali Pantami’s image today and for the remaining election days, and to remain peaceful, calm, and law-abiding.
“Finally, we call on the security agencies and other officials to arrest those behind this act and ensure that the elections are free, fair, credible, and peaceful,” the statement added.
