Sen. Mohammed Ibrahim Bomoi, the Senator representing Yobe South and a governorship aspirant, has said that he has reached an understanding that retains the consensus position of the party in the state.
In a press statement issued by Mamman Mohammed, Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to Governor Mai Mala Buni, the senator stated this after a meeting with His Excellency, Governor Mai Mala Buni, at the Government House, Damaturu.
Bomoi said, “The APC remains a united and indivisible party, and we will continue to remain united, work for the success of the party, and align with the party’s consensus arrangement.”
Responding, Governor Buni commended the senator for his understanding, care, and deep concern for the state and the party.
He called on other aspirants to emulate the senator by working towards strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections with a united front.
