The emergence of Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo as the Governorship Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Kano State is a deserving tribute to decades of steadfast loyalty, political resilience, grassroots struggle, and selfless dedication to the service of the people.
This remarkable achievement is not merely a political victory, but a deserving recognition of a man who has devoted his life to grassroots mobilization, public service, progressive politics, and the defence of the common people. From his early days of community leadership and union activism to his impactful roles in governance and the Kwankwasiyya movement, Comrade Gwarzo has remained steadfast, courageous, and ideologically consistent.
As one of the most enduring pillars and respected spokespersons of Kwankwasiyya, the Ɗan-masanin Kwankwasiyya has continued to inspire many through his eloquence, political maturity, and unwavering commitment to justice, loyalty, and service. Truly, leaders are tested not only by positions they hold, but by the principles they refuse to abandon.
His emergence as the NDC gubernatorial flag bearer stands as a testament to experience, resilience, and the confidence people continue to place in his leadership capacity.
May this new political journey mark the beginning of greater opportunities for the progress, unity, and transformation of Kano State.
Congratulations once again, Jan-Gwarzo, Ɗan Masanin Kwankwasiyya.
