Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, on Friday attended the Wedding Fatiha of Surayya Kabir Sani Yakasai and Bashir Bashir Mangal (Khalifa), held at Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Juma’at Mosque, Kofar Mata, Kano.
The solemn ceremony attracted family members, friends, associates, traditional rulers, political leaders and other well-wishers who gathered to witness and celebrate the union in accordance with Islamic rites.
Alhaji Garo joined the families of the late Alhaji Sani Kwangila Yakasai (S.K.Y.) and Alhaji (Dr.) Dahiru Barau Mangal, CON, in offering prayers for the successful marriage of the couple.
He prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to bless the union with lasting love, peace, happiness, mutual understanding and prosperity.
The Deputy Governor also prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection over the newlyweds, asking that they be granted a successful and enduring marital life blessed with righteous offspring.
He further expressed hope that the couple’s home would become a source of peace, mercy and prosperity for their families and the wider society.
Alhaji Garo congratulated Surayya and Bashir, as well as their families, and prayed for continued blessings upon the new household.
