…Condoles With Family of Respected Elder, Politician Danjumai
Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, on Friday attended the wedding Fatiha of former Rano Local Government chairmanship aspirant, Aliyu Harazimi Rano, and his bride, Mardiyyah Auwal.
The wedding ceremony was held at Ibn Abbas Juma’at Mosque, Shagari Quarters, Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of A.A Rano, Auwalu Abdullahi Rano, served as the Wakili (representative) of the groom, with a dowry of N200,000.
The Deputy Governor congratulated the couple and wished them a happy and prosperous married life filled with peace, understanding and blessings.
Garo attended the ceremony alongside members of his delegation, representing the Kano State Government at the occasion.
The Deputy Governor later proceeded to Unguwa Uku, Gidan Tsamiya, where he, on behalf of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, condoled with the family of the late Alhaji Muhammad Danjumai.
Danjumai, a respected politician and elder in Kano State, recently passed away.
He was also the father of former Vice Chairman of Warawa Local Government Area, Hon. Ibrahim Muhammad, and is survived by one wife and several children.
Garo conveyed the government’s condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul.
